Kylie Bilchev – Tennis

Kylie Bilchev started playing tennis at the age of 6 when coaches from Jamie Yates’ programme came to her school in Kesgrave looking for talent. Since then various coaches have contributed to Kylie’s development, all under Jamie’s program. She is currently coached by Andrew Richardson.

At the age of 8 Kylie was winning regional tournaments and at the age of 9 she won her first National Tour final. She has been in the national squad from the age of 10. In the following years she won two more national finals. In 2015 Kylie represented Great Britain in both Winter Cup and Summer Nations Cup where she won 14 of 16 matches. She also won 2 Tennis Europe tournaments and was a finalist in another two and became the AEGON Junior Player of the month for July 2015. Kylie’s favourite achievements in 12U are Finalist in Auray, France, Semi-finalist in the Eddie Herr, Florida, and 6th place in the Orange Bowl in Florida.
